The fleet of three 707s have had great fun racing in the river this year. The boat is ideally suited to the shifting Helford breeze and is a good performer in all conditions. It becomes more exciting as the wind increases and will at some point plane at 20 knots. The boats are a giveaway at

between £4,000 and £6,000 complete with road trolley so you can keep layup costs down and take them home. You can just about sail 3 up with 4 being the ideal number so not many crew required. A suit of sails is just over £2,000. We will be imposing a class rule that recommends a limitation on sail renewal frequency to keep the cost down. A fourth boat has now joined us and two more people are talking about getting one this winter so with six or seven boats, next season is going to be great fun.
