Last evening was the first race in the Spring Wednesday pursuit series. We had a breeze from the north west which decreased as the sun set.

There were four boats out last evening, but Roger McDonald in Amanzimtoti was probably not racing. John Lake came out in Beejolly, racing for the first time, and was the only PY boat to race this week.
Jacobi started before Orijin and led the spinnaker leg out to Eastern, and to Rosemullion.

Andy Dennis in Orijin managed to overtake Jacobi as the boats entered the Helford River, and Orijin went on to win the IRC class by several minutes.
