Christmas Family Lunch

Sunday 23rd December

Dear Members

If you are wondering what to do with your family, guests and children before Christmas come down to the Sailing Club on Sunday 23rd.  The menu has been designed by our guest chefs Gavin and Lindsey with families in mind.  It’s a great opportunity to meet other Members’ families before the Christmas celebrations.  John Martin, our local magician, will be performing from 2.00pm with a special Magic Show for the children at 3.00pm. This year we are expecting a special guest with a sack full of presents! If you can’t make lunch just come for a drink and the Magic Show.

Starters

  • Sweet potato and ginger soup with bread and butter – £5
  • Mackerel fishcake with salad and lemon mayonnaise – £6
  • Goat’s cheese and beetroot salad – £6

Mains

  • Roast beef with roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, cauliflower cheese, braised red cabbage, swede purée, roast carrots, honey roasted parsnips, seasonal greens, sprouts, pigs in blankets and gravy – £12 (Children’s portion – £6.50)
  • Roasted belly pork with roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, cauliflower cheese, braised red cabbage, swede purée, honey roasted parsnips, roasted carrots, seasonal greens, sprouts, pigs in blankets and gravy – £11.50 (Children’s portion – £6.50)
  • Nut roast with roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, cauliflower cheese, braised red cabbage, honey roasted parsnips, seasonal greens, sprouts and veggie gravy – £10.50 (Children’s portion £6)
  • Pan roasted salmon fillet with a sun blushed tomato crumb, garlic and herb crushed potatoes, kale and a Provençal sauce – £13
