With the course shortened to the triangle Biggs and Philpott seemingly held hands at the finish 4 minute behind the Solo and Emily Broad managing to complete the course ahead of a valiant attempt by a tandem of Hoskens.Light air specialist Adam Mason left the fleet far behind in real and corrected time Thursday. Without apparent sense of urgency the racers sailing wind against tide meandered through the Narrows towards Trebah. Race Officer McD with plenty of time to lay a Triangle / Sausage course and ponder the upcoming RS400 nationals Torquay 8th -12th September could only persuade his charges to start 25 minutes late. It was quite apparent the only custom for Paul Greensmith in safety would be the big tow home as the wind failed all except the Solo.Light Airs Grace Adam Mason
Results: Adam Mason 1, Andy Biggs 2, Phil Philpott 3
