FALMOUTH SAILING WEEK

Event Details

  • Date:

Following the decision by the organising committee on 11th July to run a limited event over 4 days, the entry system has been updated to reflect the new situation and accept new entries.

In order to minimise the changes to the entry system, all of which will need to be unpicked next year, we have not changed all inconsequential minutiae.  If you submit your information and pay £20 then you will be good to go for all 4 days.

THOSE WHO HAVE ALREADY REGISTERED A PROVISIONAL ENTRY SHOULD NOT RE-ENTER. THEY WILL BE SENT A LINK BY EMAIL THAT WILL ENABLE THEM TO RE-OPEN THEIR PROVISIONAL ENTRY AND SIMPLY MAKE PAYMENT.

It is regretted that racing will not be provided this year for Dinghies, Working Boats and Firebirds.

It is very important that anyone applying to enter Falmouth Sailing Week reads the addendum to the Notice of Race.

PoFSA announcement regarding Falmouth Sailing Week

Following the RYA’s successful negotiation of an agreement with the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) under the government’s Return to Team Sports framework PoFSA has reviewed and deleted the requirement for eligible boats to be sailed by members of the same household / Covid-19 support bubble.  Crew members from different households are now permitted subject to a new minimum social distancing of “0.5m with mitigations” as set out in RYA guidance that may be found at
