Latest changes under Covid19

Now that the nights are drawing in and the temperature dropping, we are providing an area for drinking in the older part of the clubhouse nearer to the bar and an eating area in the conservatory and the 2 rooms at the far end. This has allowed us to have 9 or 10 tables socially distanced for diners and an area for drinkers in the main bar area.

Although this is a pain for all of us who just want things to return to normal, please stick to the rules as the last thing that we need is a Covid 19 outbreak at the club which results in an enforced closure.

Our interpretation of the government rules at 14th Sept mean that –

  • No more than 6 in a group and no intermingling between groups.
  • Groups and tables to be 2m apart from each other.
  • Please sign in at the table close to the bar. This is mandatory for ‘Track & Trace’.
  • Social distancing of 2m between people, including queuing for the bar.
  • Drinking inside you must be sitting down at one of the tables in the seating area.
  • Please bring and place upside down dirty glasses in the dishwasher rack provided.
  • As before, only one person in the toilets at a time.
  • Please use the hand sanitiser.

We look forward to seeing you at the club and on the water – stay safe.
