Dave Sumner would like to join me in thanking all those that formed muster to retrieve the Club Wayfarer dinghies from the water on Saturday. In addition to the strong turnout from our active Adult Sailing section, assistance from Dave Church; Dan Flunder; Stephen Brooks; Keith Goy; Mark Ibotson (apologies to anyone I have left out) made for an orderly and quick haul out.
Eight Wayfarers were recovered from the water in a somewhat testing easterly slop by a team not afraid to get their feet wet. Two trailers were utilised to shuttle the boats up the ramp where another team parked them up. Not content with getting them out of the water members then pressure washed the boats, removed all gear to the shed, before un-stepping the masts.
Dave Sumner and his ‘team’ have a full programme of maintenance planned over the winter and any offer of help would be appreciated.
Adult sailing on Tuesday evenings (and socially throughout the winter) is a great way to make new friends and enjoy the beautiful Helford River – why not give it a go!
It was good working with you all.
Thanks
Clive Dudley

Dear Members,
Any tenders remaining on the pontoon which are not displaying a payment sticker will be removed this Sunday 19th September.
Owners will be charged for their storage.
Dear Member,
A check has been carried out of the VHF radios and unfortunately we are currently missing 4 Icoms and one SH from the radio cupboard.
If you have inadvertently taken one home, could you please return any radio to the Clubhouse at your earliest convenience.
Thank you.
