    Thinking about becoming a member of Helford River Sailing Club? Or perhaps you’ve recently joined and would like to get to know the Club and some of our members?

    We’d love to welcome you to our New & Prospective Members Evening on Saturday 26th September from 7pm.

    Come along for a relaxed and informal evening, meet members of the Committee and other Club members, find out a little more about what HRSC has to offer, and have a look around the Club.

    🍴 Canapés & menu tasters will be served from 7.30pm, giving you the chance to sample some of the delicious food on offer at the Club.

    Whether you’re considering joining, have recently become a member, or simply want to get more involved, we’d be delighted to see you.

    65th Helford to L’aber Wrac’h

    Prepare to embark on an unforgettable adventure as the much-anticipated Helford River L’Aber Wrac’h Race comes to Helford River Sailing Club! This will be the clubs 65th annual race and is taking place on Friday 26th June 2026. It’s an exhilarating channel crossing challenge and is a true test of seamanship, endurance, and strategy. We invite you to join us on this remarkable journey that crosses the vast expanse of the English Channel. Or just come along to the fabulous Champagne Reception on Thursday June 25th. This race has become a celebrated highlight in the Helford River Sailing Club calendar. So don’t miss out!

    The 64th L’Aber Wrac’h race REPORT…

    The 64th Helford to L’Aber Wrac’h race was held on 27th June 2025
    Twenty-three yachts entered for the 64th race, seven French and thirteen English, taking on the Channel crossing, with 20 yachts finishing the race and only three retirements, one having to return home with electronics problems and the other two made it to L’Aber Wrac’h.
