The 64th Helford to L’Aber Wrac’h race was held on 27th June 2025
Twenty-three yachts entered for the 64th race, seven French and thirteen English, taking on the Channel crossing, with 20 yachts finishing the race and only three retirements, one having to return home with electronics problems and the other two made it to L’Aber Wrac’h.

FALMOUTH SAILING WEEK REGATTA TEA | Sunday 9th August
The Helford River Sailing Club always hosts a Regatta Tea for the Falmouth Sailing Week racers. This year it will be on Sunday 9th August. This is a call-out for donations of sandwiches, cakes, pastries, scones, frittatas, quiches, sausage rolls and any other picnic items, (Please label because of allergens). If you have time to share your culinary skills with some very hungry sailors, please drop off your donations to the Club house from 11.30am on Sunday 9th August. This will be the clubs 65th annual race and is taking place on Friday 26th June 2026. It’s an exhilarating channel crossing challenge and is a true test of seamanship, endurance, and strategy. We invite you to join us on this remarkable journey that crosses the vast expanse of the English Channel. Or just come along to the fabulous Champagne Reception on Thursday June 25th. This race has become a celebrated highlight in the Helford River Sailing Club calendar. So don’t miss out!

Come along for a relaxed and informal evening, meet members of the Committee and other Club members, find out a little more about what HRSC has to offer, and have a look around the Club.

REGATTA TEA | Sunday 9th August, HRSC traditional Regatta Tea is a much-loved part of Falmouth Sailing Week, welcoming hungry sailors after a day of racing.
Our restaurant will be serving lunch from 12:00–2:00pm, followed by a fantastic BBQ from 5:00pm, with live music from the SKATA-LIKES. Please note: The club car park will be closed all day on Sunday, and no vehicles should be parked in front of the clubhouse, as this area will be used for the BBQ and outside bar.
